According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur’s defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama set for £7million transfer to Fulham FC.
The 28-year-old Kenya international has struggled to cement his place in the first team, as Spurs signed Tanguy N’dombele and Giovani Lo Celso this summer and Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t see him in the squad in future.
Wanyama was destined to move to Belgium, as Brugge was strongly interested in signing him and terms with the player was agreed, but transfer collapsed and now he is keen on staying in London and wants to join Championship side Fulham.
The midfielder reunited with Pochettino from former club Southampton in 2016 and was a regular starter, but he has made only two appearances this season.
Wanyama has total 93 appearances for Spurs in which he managed to score 7 goals. By adding him Fulham will surely strengthen their squad and boost their chances to promote back to the Premier League for the next season.
